Project Specialist II - Supply Chain
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field, plus two (2) years of experience in an administrative position including project management, budget management, report preparation, and/or data analysis, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
• Requires remaining in a stationary position for extended periods of time and constantly operating a computer and other office productivity machinery.
• May require moving inside and outside warehouse, stockrooms, Bus and Rail Terminals and Shops.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
• Working knowledge of office and administrative management policies and procedures.
• Working knowledge of report preparation methods.
• Working knowledge of computerized Inventory Management Systems is preferred.
• Working knowledge in the use of Microsoft Office products.
• General knowledge of principles and methods of budget management.
• General knowledge of computerized inventory management systems.
• Strong computer skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Good research and analytical skills.
• Good project management skills.
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to prepare and maintain accurate logs, records, and reports.
• Ability to maintain effective working relationships with staff at all levels of the organization.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Ability to work cross-functionally in a team environment.
• Ability to be resourceful, self-motivated, and able to operate in a fast paced unstructured environment with minimal supervision.
WORKING CONDITIONS
• General office and warehouse environment.
EQUIPMENT, TOOLS, AND MATERIALS UTILIZED
• Standard office equipment.
• Personal computer and related software.
